Interacting with senior decision makers in Ghana’s business community

Students will have the rare opportunity of meeting experienced business executives whose insights should inspire them to build entrepreneurial acumen. Rev. Daniel Ogbamey Tettey, Head of Research of Data Bank Ltd., Ghana’s leading financial research firm, a confirmed speaker at the Summer University, will lead participants in a brainstorming discussion about the impact of some governmental monetary regulation policies on key actors of the national economy.

Network opportunities

Tom Palmer of Cato University, Linda Whetstone of International Policy Network, Jo Kwong of Atlas Economic Research Foundation, Greg Rhemke of Economic Thinking and Prof. Pierre Garello of The Instiute of Humane Studies at George Mason University are a few examples of the scholars and thinkers whose groundbreaking ideas are dictating the trends of scholarship in economic thinking, and who are fully committed to the Summer University. We hope that outstanding student participants at the Summer University would gain access to a rich network of academics and institutions, and thereby to opportunities of various kinds, including internships at prestigious research institutes around the world, grants and fellowships at premier college and universities and above all, communities of thought and intellectual practice.
